Legendary boxing writer Thomas Hauser recently reviewed 12 Rounds in Lo’s Gym: Boxing and Manhood in Appalachia for The Sweet Science. Hauser, author of Muhammad Ali: His Life and Times and Muhammad Ali: A Tribute (among numerous other publications), is one of boxing’s most accomplished scribes. Winner of the Nat Fleischer Award for Career Excellence in Boxing Journalism, Hauser has written about the sport for publications such as New York Times, The Ring, and various websites.
